Welcome to the Solar systems department

On our test roof 3, an evacuated tubular collector  is going to be equipped with sensor instrumentation, in order to investigate the efficiency and the tilt angle dependency of vapour development in flow and stagnation conditions.

The increasing importance of solar thermal energy systems for heat supply requires, that the systems and components show a high performance at high reliability and acceptable costs. Our superior aim is to significantly reduce the primary and end energy consumption in buildings and settlements. For this purpose, the working groups of the Solar systems department develop, test and optimize new products and system concepts.

Within our Research and Development projects we cooperate with our industrial partners. Furthermore, with our extensive experimental equipment we offer product development support and the realization of certification tests, carried out by the
