FlexMod: Flexible, highly automated PV module production

Our "FlexMod" laboratory offers the opportunity to interconnect industrial silicon solar cells using various connection technologies (soldering, ultrasonic soldering, laser welding) and then process them into photovoltaic modules of various sizes. This enables us to develop digitally supported processes for the highly automated production of customized PV modules. We also produce demo PV modules to evaluate new products and materials.

At ISFH, we can process silicon solar cells and tandem solar cells with silicon bottom cells with an edge length of up to 210 mm (M12 format). Among other things, a stringer, various laser systems, two different laminators and two robots are available for this purpose.

All processes and systems are available for service orders.
