“Intersolar Europe” will open its doors in Munich on 31 May 2017. The Institute for Solar Energy Research in Hamelin will once again be present with its own booth in hall A4 (booth number A4.318).

ISFH will present novel PERT and PERC solar cells, inform about the services of its calibration laboratory “CalTeC” and show modules featuring novel bifacial solar cells with almost identical front and rear efficiencies (flip-flop modules).

In addition, the first report of the extended TASK 13 project in the PVPS programme of the International Energy Agency (IEA) was presented. The report “Assessment of Photovoltaic Module Failures in the Field” was prepared under the leadership of ISFH. It presents the current state of scientific knowledge on the causes of performance degradation in PV modules and their modelling. A statistical analysis of real photovoltaic systems will also be used to show the extent to which power losses due to certain types of faults can be expected.

The report can be downloaded from the Internet.

Intersolar 2017 is still open until Friday, 2.6.2017 daily from 9:00 – 18:00.
