You are interested in environmentally friendly and inexhaustible solar energy, in scientific basics, in technical and didactic implementation, in experiments and concepts for teaching, training and school projects. You are interested in the economic and ecological relevance of solar energy in the global and regional energy transition in the context of other renewable energy systems.

Our NILS-ISFH service is a service offer for schools, for teachers, students, parents, for environmental and energy projects, scientific and technical education, teacher training.

With the Institute for Solar Energy Research (ISFH), the state of Lower Saxony has the only scientific solar research center in northern Germany with the core areas of photovoltaics, solar thermal energy and solar systems. The ISFH is an affiliated institute of the Leibniz University of Hannover.

NILS-ISFH opens the possibility to coordinate school science and technology (STEM) education and environmental education work in the field of solar energy systems, solar thermal and photovoltaics and hydrogen technology at this scientific solar research center with a well-equipped laboratory for school groups.
