On 27 February 2018, a joint workshop on the topic of “Solar assisted heating systems in apartment buildings” will be held together with the Centre for Innovative Energy Systems at Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences.

From a market research, concepts of solar heating systems for multi-family houses are selected in order to carry out an energetic, economical and functional analysis on real systems of these concepts for the recommendation of efficient, cost-effective and robust heating concepts for multi-family houses. The basis for the analyses are measurements at heating systems, which are operated under real conditions in the laboratory with the help of real-time simulations of the consumers. The measurement data is used for error analysis in the interaction of the system components and controller as well as for the validation of annual simulations. The systems are evaluated energetically and economically with the results of the annual simulations. Finally, system optimizations are examined in order to make recommendations for a good solar design.

Participation is free of charge. Registration is requested. Further information can be found in the invitation.
